Type Locality and Naming

Named after the Sangardak River, South Gissar. M.R. Jalilov, 1968 (190, p.43). Stratotype in the middle course of the Sangardak River, in the area of the Nilu (Nilyu) village. Included in the Muzrabat Horizon (56; 190; 452).

Synonym: Sangardak Suite, Сангардская св., Sangardak Fm


Lithology and Thickness

Malachite-colored siltstones, polymictic breccias. Thickness 5-15m
